Important Information & Requirements
Physical Fitness: A moderate level of fitness is required. The walk to Gitgit Waterfall takes approximately 10-20 minutes on a jungle trail . The tour is not recommended for pregnant travelers, individuals with back problems, or those with poor cardiovascular health .
Dolphin Sightings: Wild dolphins are not guaranteed. The sighting success rate is high, but it depends on weather, season, and natural conditions . The best season for dolphin watching is the dry season (April to October) .
Boat Crowds: Be aware that during peak season, there may be many boats at the dolphin viewing area . Some operators choose quieter spots away from the crowds for a better experience .
Marine Conservation: Local regulations require boats to maintain a safe distance (minimum 25 meters) from dolphins. Chasing or disturbing dolphins is prohibited . No feeding, touching, or flash photography is allowed.
