Important Information & Requirements

  • Physical Fitness: A moderate level of fitness is required. The walk to the waterfalls involves stairs and uneven terrain . The tour is not recommended for individuals with mobility issues or using wheelchairs .

  • Tirta Empul Temple Ritual: Women who are menstruating are prohibited from entering the sacred areas or participating in the purification ritual . The water is cool and refreshing—bring a change of clothes and a towel .

  • What to Bring:

    • Comfortable walking shoes (slippers are acceptable but be cautious on slippery paths)
